Gauthier Aboudaram was born and raised in Lyon, France and is currently based in Montreal.

Always passionate about cinema, he created Clap Campus, a student organisation in the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières during his marketing studies, which he directed (film direction, production, loan of professional material, teams management...) until graduating and relocating to Montreal in 2014. There, he has been directing and producing short movies and works fully in cinema, currently as a set production assistant.

Gauthier is interested in exploring filmmaking that pushes the edges of genres and that wanders between them, while addressing subjects and themes that matter to him, such as self-discovery, family, or the place of the human when facing the strange.
